Senator Ferrell Haile attended the Hartsville- Trousdale County Chamber of Commerce Lunch on Tuesday, June 10. Haile shared he had been in communication with leadership following the Sunday, June 8 riot at the Trousdale Turner Correctional Center and assured those in attendance that the proper conversations are taking place to get the situation under control. 鈥淚n negotiations with CoreCivic, we have to make changes, things are not going to continue as they have,鈥 said Haile. 鈥淭he contraband at the prison has to cease. I鈥檝e told the General Assembly I鈥檓 fed up with it, and they are fed up with it, my constituents are fed up. Corrective actions are taking place.鈥
