Summer meals for Trousdale County children and students under the age of 18 will provide breakfast and lunch during the month of June at Trousdale Elementary School, 115 Lock 6 Rd. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and lunch at noon, Monday through Friday.

Trousdale County School Nutrition will be partnered with TNKids Nutrition to feed children in the community this summer. TNKids will deliver food boxes to the listed locations every Friday, June through July. The food boxes will contain a combination of pantry and frozen items. Parents/guardians may pick up boxes and the child does not have to be present. To receive a box, please be at the delivery site most convenient for you. The delivery locations are as follows: Philippi Church of Christ, 970 Hwy. 25, Castalian Springs — 9 a.m.-9:30 a.m.; 9:45 a.m.-10:15 a.m. — Trousdale County High School, 262 W. McMurry Blvd.; 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m. — Hartsville Housing Authority, 208 Rogers St.; 11:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m. — East Ridge/Lock 6 Apartments, 200 Sam Beasley Rd.; 12 p.m.-12:20 p.m. — East Main Street, 601 East Main St.; 12:30-12:50 p.m. — Fred A. Vaught Memorial Library, 211 White Oak St.; 1 p.m.-1:20 p.m. — West Main Street/Epoch Court, 220 West Main St.

The Hartsville Church of Christ, 108 HÎÞëÊÓƵtown Rd., invites everyone to their 2025 Summer Series Lessons with guest speakers each Wednesday night at 7 p.m., June 4-July 9. The Hartsville Backpack Program food distribution will take place on Saturday, June 14, from 9-11 a.m. at 250 W. McMurry Blvd.

The Ward School Community Preservation Association presents a Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 14 at Trey Park in Hartsville. Dancing in the Streets event hosted by Dave Traini will take place Thursday, June 19 from 6-8 p.m. in historic downtown Hartsville. Food trucks open for business at 5 p.m.

The Trousdale County Board of Education meets Thursday, June 19 at 6 p.m. at the Board of Education Building located at 103 Lock 6 Rd.

The Trousdale Saddle Club show is on Friday, June 20, weather permitting. The show starts at 7 p.m. The Ole Red Arena is located at 75 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Hartsville. The event has free admission. A concession stand is available.

The Trousdale County Band Boosters will host the Heart of Tennessee Miss Firecracker Pageant on Saturday, June 28, 2025, starting at noon. The pageant is open to any female contestant between the ages of 5 to 18 years. A non-refundable entry fee of $40 is required. Forms can be obtained from any band booster or the Trousdale County Election office.
