The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) has announced that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has made Disaster Unemployment Assistance available for nine Tennessee counties. These counties were impacted by severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and flooding occurring between April 2 and April 24, 2025, as declared in the Federal Disaster Declaration FEMA DR-4878.

TDLWD is accepting applications for Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) from individuals whose employment or self-employment was impacted by those storms in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Dyer, Hardeman, McNairy, Montgomery, Obion and Wilson counties.
